Cost CalculationPlenty of factors make up the cost estimate for the translation and have impact on its final amount. Prices also vary depending on the type of services you need whether it be interpreting or translation. Translation1. Target Language Price per standard page (containing 1,800 symbols including blanks) of a translation depends on the target language cover. Generally, translations to or from rare languages are more expensive. The Prices section sets out the translation rates for all of our languages. Please note that we perform one-way translation only (to Russian) from certain languages. 2. Dedicated Text The translation price increases by 1.25–2.0 in case you need to translate a sophisticated text implying impeccable knowledge of a specific terminology field (law, medicine, engineering, banking, economics, finance, etc.). 3. Translation Urgency & Priority Should you require that a translation of up to five standard pages be performed in 24 hours (i.е. generally on the same day), the translation rate shall be subject to an increment of 1.5–2.0 of the order value. If you need urgent translation of five or more standard pages within a working day, the price is subject to a 1.5–2.5 increase. The reason behind the marked up prices for urgent translations is the need for engaging several translators to work at a time and for rearranging translations ordered by other customers to a later date. Therefore your order gains performance priority. 4. Editing In case professional editing or proof-reading needs to be done once the translation is completed, an increment of 1.3–1.8 shall be added to the translation cost. Editing by a target language native speaker implies a mark-up of 2.0–2.5 to the order amount. 5. Layout & Formatting If the translation layout is of importance to you and you wish to duplicate the appearance of the source text, you need to pay RUR 150 per translation page for making layout and extra formatting. 6. Photocopies & Print-Outs Printing out your documents from a computer file or making photocopies costs RUR 10 per page of said materials. 7. Notarization Services Notarization of a translator's signature affixed to a document costs RUR 699 (including a RUR 449 fee for arranging a notarization and due processing of documents + RUR 250 state duty for a notarial act) per document. In certain cases translation is broached solely to a notarized document copy, the price of which is RUR 90 (including a RUR 60 fee for arranging a notarization and due processing of documents + RUR 30 state duty for a notarial act) per page of a document copy. An additional translation counterpart is also available from a Notary Public for an extra fee of RUR 699 per document. Please note that notarization services shall be paid for apart from the translation cost. 8. Apostillization of Documents If you need any document apostillized, the cost for the service is RUR 1400 per document. Please note that no apostille is available absent notarization of a translator's signature and that the apostillization fee is charged apart from the translation cost. 9. Corporate Certification We also provide certification of a translation's authenticity using our corporate stamp. The cost for the service is RUR 150 per document. 10. Loyalty Card When first arriving at our offices you will be issued a loyalty card that grants you a 5% discount starting from the next visit. The discount applies only to the translation cost. Target Language We deal with various languages, so the interpreting prices may differ. Generally, translations to or from rare languages are more expensive and are arranged individually in every particular case. 2. Interpreting Type Simultaneous interpreting is always more expensive than consecutive interpreting (almost 5-fold), which is due to its complexity and special requirements as to the interpreter's professional skills. 3. Interpreting Time-Frame Depending on the time-frame, the interpreting hour rate shall be multiplied by the number of service hours. Example 2
